PS I'm taking my photos here to get printed AND framed from now on...they always look great and my printer just didn't do as great a job!
Extremely friendly and helpful staff and I couldn't have been more pleased with the finished product. Will definitely be back again to get more work framed here.
I was having them wrap 2 canvas prints and they called told me that the ink is incredibly delicate and rubbing off very easily and that they were afraid stretching the canvas would ruin the print. They recommended a UV sealant coating be applied before the canvases are wrapped. I told them to hang on while I did some research.
I have been going to this shop for years. I just went in today, they were fast, friendly and do excellent work. Always a great experience.
I previously had some frames done here and although it took a while, they did a pretty good with the framing.
I contacted the printer and they said that the canvas prints are very high quality and already come with a UV sealant. They said that they recommended finding a different framer because they must be handling them carelessly.
My dad and I have been coming here for years to get things framed. They always do a great job and everyone there is always very helpful and friendly. Thanks to Heather's help today, I have some wonderful photos in frames to give for Mother's Day!
I came to the conclusion that they were either trying to swindle me out of more money or they were recommending a treatment without inspecting the print, neither of which are practices I agree with. I am taking my business elsewhere to have these wrapped.
I went back to the store and asked them to show me where the aforementioned damage occurred and if they could demonstrate/reproduce the effect. They said "Well it didn't actually happen, it just looks like it might happen". I had them pull out the prints to inspect them and the ink does not rub off at all. There is already a shiny/glossy coat on the print that prevents this from happening.
Incredible selection and great pricing, not to mention wonderful customer service. Highly recommend them for all of your framing needs. Don't bother with the craft store and coupons, this place has waaayyy more selection and better prices. AND they know their stuff! Get in the car and drive there now. Go on, what are you waiting for?
