I called these guys on the "$43 or it's free" special. I sent them to a rental and the tenant was there. The guy wasn't able to clear the toilet drain. He wanted to charge an absurd amount to pull the toilet and auger the pipe. I declined but after hanging up he charged the tenant $99. I showed up a the next day with my 6' toilet auger and cleared the drain in about 10 mins. So to sum up, not only should they not have charged me anything, they charged my tenant and charged the wrong amount. I called to get it fixed (at minimum have them charge me $43 and refund the tenant), but it has been more than a month with no response. I have called 3 times now and get their "answering service" every time. Don't even think about talking to anyone that can actually do anything. I definitely will not be using them again. It's a shame because they have some really good deals.
They are professional and get the job done, but you definitely pay for it. I got a quote for my AC that was $1600 less than Any Hour's discounted price for the same work. Word of mouth is the best way to find a reputable small HVAC company that doesn't have to charge as much.
15,000 for a solar system and I'm without power on the first day of 95+ weather!!! I've just been told they do not respond to any calls for any reason on Sunday. I decided to go with Any Hour because they were the only company that had payments close to my regular power bill and I was promised LG panels. They showed up with the off brand panels because THEY decided that the panels were comparable and made the decision without talking to me to go ahead and put in the other brand. When I asked about adjusting the amount they offered surge protectors (keep in mind I'm without power). When I got my bill it was TRIPLE what my power bill was. I didn't get anything promised, paying on a 15k loan and without power. Temp right now is 96. They have no integrity. The decision is yours, but you have been warned.
These guys are expensive and don't return phone calls. Sure, they have a nice logo and van, but who cares? Sure they are "any hour" but they charge you to come after hours! If you can, find a reputable local plumber that will give you an honest review and not gouge you. My hot water heater stopped turning on. They arrived and said it was cracked on the inside, and would have to be replaced. They also found some other issues, and quoted me $12,000 for the work total. I asked for an itemized breakdown, and they weren't able to do it in person. I asked them to call me (twice) with the breakdown so I could get going on the work, and they have not and it has been weeks. Apparently they do not care for customers who are out of hot water? I called a friendly local plumber who fixed my hot water heater for $250...turns out it was repairable! Never calling these guys again.
UPDATE: They contacted me after more than a month. Said they would resolve it immediately. Said they would confirm and let me know once I got the approval. It has now been two months and I still haven't heard anything. Still no resolution.
Against my father in laws advise I called these guys because I was desperate. If you like Sitting in for a timeshare sales pitch you will love these guys but if you want a honest plumber don’t call them. Find someone who will fix what actually needs to be fixed on time and for a fair price.
Not impressed with this company at all. They came out to repair two valves on our showers and by the end of the service call they wanted to replace our perfectly fine water softener, install a expansion valve, replace our water pressure regulator, replace our water heater shutoff valve, replace the water heater gas line, replace the shower heads (one was 3 months old) and sell us a service plan (so that they could just come back and tell us everything that was wrong with our electrical and Hvac) They bill you while they prepare a bid for all of the things they want to mark up to sell you and then over bill you to fix the actual issue. They bid $1,300 to fix the actual issue ($8,500 for what they wanted to do). I was desperate so I told them to do it. They couldn’t fix the issues the first day and it took a full morning to finish the job. They told us that one of our showers needed a shower head and that was the issue and left. That night I got in the shower with a new shower head and it had the same issue. I called and told them to get back out the next morning and they tried to bill me $600 more to fix the actual issue. I told them absolutely not and that I would disputed my cc charge if they didn’t do it because that’s what I paid for the first time. They ended up fixing it but told us that because we had high pressure they would not warranty it.
