I was referred to Starks Funeral Parlor from a family member for my mother in laws funeral. Prior to her passing I had never delt with any funeral arrangement services and didn't know where, or even how to start. Starks took care of me and my family through the whole process. From the first call to even days after the funeral when I had a few questions, they took care of us. Everyone we spoke with did their best to make such a hard and sensitive time not as stressful for us. They were great about communicating with me and answering my calls, text messages and emails in a timely manner. If it wasn't for them I don't think I would feel this prepared or positive about going through this process again. Definitely happy we found them when we did.
They did a wonderful job I was so amazed in the kindness of the owner and the staff!
I can't even explain in words how wonderful this place and its people are. We had my brother's celebration of life there on Monday and it was the most beautiful and special service. They took care of everything very smoothly, they were extremely patient and supportive with us through our emotional and confusing time. By the end of everything it was almost like they were family, too. Thank you all at Starks so much! Losing him has been the hardest thing my family has been through, and you all took amazing care of us, and him.
I unfortunately found Starks by attending a very sad occasion a dear friend passed away and his service was here. His service was beautiful, detail oriented everything perfect. I immediately made an appointment for preplanning services for my father. They were wonderful! Having been completely unprepared with the sudden death of my mother, we had her celebration of life at my home she was cremated and the creamatorium didn't have a very large or decorated service area, for $1000 for 3 hours and an additional $1000 for every additional hour do everything ourselves (no food please) So we had the service at my home (it went on for five or so hours)It was nice (what I remember) I was hosting and working instead of mourning my mom. That all being said, I never wanted to be in that position again. Everyone at Stark was so amazing, I am very confident when the time comes my family and I will be able to mourn and not deal with all the extra stress. I wish I had known about them 2 years ago.
