Dont purchase wifi here it cuts off i spent more time reconneting than on line
Clean, well designed general facilities. Showers are clean but small for a Love's. Truck parking is often full due to the location. Many fast food options nearby, plus a Denny's on the corner and Star of India in the Ramada.
When i come in i see the employees happily engaged with customers but when i come to the register it immediately stops. Most times i won't even get eye contact. I might as well be helped by a robot that wants me out of there as quickly as possible. Some, I mean only some of the employees are friendly and treat me like I'm human.
There's not many places I go to that I enjoy some of the people that works in their loves as one of them there's a few I don't care for and then there's a few that are really nice and everything and they're really great there's Tina young Tina Kim Gary Terry they're all pretty cool people and I enjoy seeing them every morning when I go into Love's for every evening or afternoon a very grateful and very helpful.
This place sucks. Last night, while browsing the store for products to possibly help make our road trip better, and before paying for a shower and gas, we were randomly asked by the manager to leave. After some time politely asking what we did wrong he finally accused me of shoplifting. I told the man, who looked like an unkempt version of the actor Sam Elliott, that we were customers about to pay for showers and gas. He did not care. He then threatened to call the police if we did not leave. My guess is he did not like the way I look. As a 30+ year old male who has never drank, smoked, done drugs, or been in any serious trouble (the worst being told by police not to ride my skateboard in a parking lot) I find this hilarious. Had he actually thought I was shoplifting he certainly would have liked to get whatever cheap product back - in this case one of the oversized stuffed animals we were looking at (which would've been the equivalent of putting a large house cat in a small pants pocket). Instead he told us to leave. No showers, no gas. Thanks! I have traveled the country on and off for years showering and sleeping at truckstops and have not once had anything like this happen. Of course, this was the first time trying out a Love's. If you have any decency towards fellow human beings, please take your business elsewhere. This place doesn't even allow overnight parking. What a joke.
