Consistently the best for the money! My wife and I have eaten at the Trolley Square Spaghetti Factory as a standard go-to place since the late 80s, when we were dating, and we are still taking our college-age children there (Go Utes!) to celebrate birthdays and accomplishments. I can say that after 180 visits, at least 6x a year for 30 years, every meal has been great and the service excellent. Out of all those visits, only one bad service experience....honestly ONLY one in 30 years is why I remember it....but that was years ago. The food, the atmosphere, and the service are always on point. They have truly created a legacy family restaurant experience. Will definitely be going back...again, again, and again. Lastly....Manager's Favorite....Mizithra cheese and browned butter with clam sauce!!! And GET THE SPUMONI!!!
I've never been a huge fan of bland spaghetti sauce. I order the mizithra cheese or the combination. Still, some love the atmosphere. It is noisy, but a great place for kids.
Nice place, friendly waitstaff, loved the architecture but it was a bit dark at our table. Salad was bland, nice crusty bread, pasta and sauces were quite good. Loses a star because the mushrooms are NOT freshly prepared as advertised on the menu, and I love freshly sauteed. The manager was kind enough to make an adjustment.
The inside of this restaurant is really neat. I love the decor. It has a nice, comfy feel. Service could have been better. I wasn't too hungry, so I just had an appetizer. It was decent.
Just tried there Spicy Spaghetti Vesuvius. It's not bland!
