I was super excited to discover that Clarissa at Spa Bisou does tiny tattoos! I was able to conveniently make an appointment online and send an image of the tattoo I wanted over email (no deposit!). The spa itself is very cute and nicely decorated. Everyone working was friendly, and Clarissa was awesome! Can't say enough good things about this place. I got a cute little constellation done in about 10 minutes with almost zero pain, and it was only $25 before tip! I'm eagerly planning my next tiny tattoo. If I could get every tattoo I have ever wanted here, I would.
Love love love this place. I don't trust many people with my face because I'm very picky and am scared to try new things. But they took care of me perfectly! So professional and friendly. I trust them with my life. I got a lash lift and tint, eyebrow tint and a facial and this is now my go to place!!!
This was my first time going to Spa Bisou, and I was pretty excited to go because I had seen so many great things on their Instagram and one of my friends goes there. I booked an eyebrow wax because I had a photo shoot the next day. When I got there the lady doing my wax didn’t introduce herself and also realized the wax wasn’t on. I waited for the wax and finally she started to wax my eyebrows almost 10 minutes into my appointment. I wasn’t super bothered by this because things like this happen so it wasn’t a big deal. My brows looked great after, but the next morning I realized under my eyebrow was still super red and there was a line of redness. It turns out she had basically waxed off some of my skin, which this has never happened to me before. I’m sure she’s great at her job and maybe this time was just one mess up, at least I hope. Unfortunately I won’t be going back.
I was really excited to get my brows waxed at Spa Bisou after previously following them on Instagram and seeing all of the fab reviews on google. The spa itself is so darling, I absolutely love how they have decorated the place but I seriously did not feel welcomed at all while I was there. I came in on a slow Friday for them, being the only customer in the spa at that time. I walked in the door and was greeted by, "are you here for a brow wax" not a hi, how are you, or even a welcome. Being my first time there I was kind of thrown off by that. The girl who helped me didn't even introduce herself after finding out that it was my first time there and acted like it was a bother for me to be there. Then as she was doing my brows in the momentarily quiet spa, one of the owners started gossiping on the phone to someone about the other owner or partner of the spa. I completely understand stressful work issues and when you just need to vent to your girlfriends, but I thought that was extremely unprofessional. That call lasted my entire appointment. My brows look beautiful, but based on my first experience and impressions of both the girl who did my brows and one of the owners, I will never go back there. I honestly hope that my experience was just on a bad day for both of them, but I was so unimpressed that I had to write a review.
Just wrapped up my second training session in Pittsburgh, PA with these girls. I am beyond impressed by their knowledge, professionalism, and skill set with permanent cosmetics. I left feeling confident with the tools and skills I need to perform these services on my clients. Not only was the training extremely informative and hands on, but everything ran so smoothly and the environment created by the Spa Bisou team was fun, drama free, and encouraging. I would recommend this team for anyone either looking to have a permanent cosmetic service done or to be trained to complete the services themselves:)
