Trax is quite inconsistent. They may leave you as you're physically running up to the train, or they may be 5-15 minutes late. It's tough to tell, and there seems to be a great variation in the alertness and kindness of train operators.
Either way, it's $2.50 to get downtown, and about $12 for a Lyft or Uber. The train is fairly clean, and quiet. But there are also lots of homeless who ride the trains without paying since enforcement seems very lax.
I've seen a few look out their window BEFORE turning off the doors for departure, waiting for that person who's running for the train. And then I've seen them sit for a few seconds without looking at all, leaving some breathless person standing at the door as they pull away.
I'd love to rate this station higher, but a year and a half of experience in using it weekly has told me that they have a long way to go to be consistent.
