If you read this then you were warned..

This is the university of Utah hospitals and clinics, need I say more ? There whole network has declined greatly over the last 10 years, I was a patient with a clinic had the same Dr for years, had a pain contract, and I was going threw a place in life were I was under a great deal of stress and anxiety and I have a broken back, herniated discs hand arthritis, so in dealing with life and my teenage children and a failing marriage and sick parents and trying to maintain my job I had to miss one of my Dr appointments, my father had a stroke and I missed my appointment, and what I didn't know and my Dr never said anything about her going on a 3 month vacation, so I made a appointment with the same clinic, but a different Dr , and I went in and the first thing I said is I have a pain contract with Dr inadequate and I missed my appointment with her last week and I am having a really hard time right now, my father was at the university hospital stroke center and I run out of my medication and she won't be back for almost 3 months and I need help with this, so he gets up and go out of exam room comes back about 45 minutes to a hour later and tells me you signed a contract with Dr inadequate, and I won't write you any prescriptions, I said I told you about that when I got here I know he pulled my Doppler to see if I've been dr. Shopping or how many prescriptions I have filled and I know that there was none to be found other then what was on there system that I told him about, and with that said he was done with me, so I paid a $50 copay for 5 minutes of his incorrect judgmental attitude towards me, and well I was an employee for the University of Utah and and risking my job I stood up when the doctor was leaving the room I said you know what f*** you f*** the University of Utah Hospital if you are like this when one of your Dr takes a 3 month vacation and turn me away in what was a time in my life when I was wanting to die because of the pain, and the anxiety I have been going through I couldn't sleep, I said to give me my contract back and I am done with this network of Dr's that are quacks, and I say this because after leaving there I found private practice doctor it was not in my network and I had to pay extra money on my co-payment to see him and it was so worth it because he did blood work found so many issues that the doctor I've been seeing for four or five years prior to this never even thought to look for and he did on my first visit he took care of my anxiety and pain meds and the next month when I returned he had my blood work results back and I was amazed at the things that he brought to my attention that Dr. Incompetent at the University never looked for or at, and in three months I was feeling 15 years younger and in much better health, so with that being said I'm glad dr. Incompetent took her 3 month vacation and dr. A**hole would not give me my Xanax and my pain medication after being told up front by me that I signed a contract and that's why I went to the same Clinic they should have it all in their records and because the doctor was on vacation he should have been able to go ahead and write a prescription

This place is a joke. If it were the last place available I still wouldn't go back. Find a place that really cares and pass on this excuse of a clinic.

The day before I was suppose to have my appointment for chronic neck pain, they informed me my insurance wouldn't cover. Though they had over a month to figure this out. Complete lack of empathy or caring for someone who has pain on a daily basis.

Theses guys and gals are miracle workers. This is an awesome place.

So if you value your health or the health of your loved ones stay as far away from the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics as possible I would rather go to the old Pioneer Valley Hospital then the University and if I can give them zero Stars I would give them 0 Stars because I know how the hospital is run and how their equipment is taken care of and how they treat people, they are very fake and phony when you first start seeing them they will lead you to believe that you are their number one concern, after that then you will see when you're health declines and if you have any serious issues with chronic pain or anxiety things that will never get better it only get worse with time, they will treat you like a junkie, when you go there it looks all pretty and updated but in all reality it's like buying the sizzle and not the getting any steak,

This is the worst Dr'S receptionist experience I have EVER been to. I showed up 50 minutes early for my appt after getting a babysitter and driving 40 minutes to this clinic from Draper because my regular Dr asked me to. I show up and there's a sign 'we are at lunch'. So I say to the next door neighbor receptionist that I'm there for my pain appt and she says they'll be right back. I got there early on purpose so I could fill out my paperwork without my kids and miraculously found a babysitter for my 2yr old. I'm filling out all this paperwork and all of a sudden I realize it's 12:54! I hurry up to the desk and say hi I'm here, I've been here filling pit my papers! The other receptionist validates 'yep she's been here since 12'... well they tell me hurry to finish the papers, hurry! So I'm hurrying and then ALL of a sudden this witchy nurse for Dr. Bokat named Stephanie (no last name on her tag) starts telling me 'they can't see you, you had to have all your PAPERS filled out by 12:50... HUH? What?! Who said that?! NO ONE, then when I'm asking please let me talk to the Dr I've been here since 12 I've been sitting here waiting she says 'you can either make a new appt or be escorted out by security'.
