Great looking building. You can feel the history inside of it.
This is a beautiful building - inside and out.
Be careful not to mistake the assembly hall with the tabernacle. The tabernacle is where the choir rehearses and holds occasional concerts. Both are a great sight.
Pleasant assembly hall in a quiet corner of Temple Square. Open to the public. Fine pioneer workmanship inside and out. Beautiful during Christmas time when lights clothe the walkways surrounding the building.
It is a castle-like elegant architecture. There is a fountain with a seagull monument in front of the hall. When I came visit this building, it was not open to the public. The next door Salt Lake Tabernacle building is a place filled with history and prides. You may get inside to see the huge pipe organ and the building itself was one of the most acoustically perfect buildings in the world. Also it served as general conference before the new conference center was built in 2000.
