Oasis is like a second family to me. The people are friendly, loving, and most of all real in their relationship with Jesus (through the good and the trials). They are self-less and aren't afraid to navigate this life with you as you journey with God. Real family, real friendships. Most importantly, they believe that God can use you where you are and everyone is encouraged to "play!"
My family moved here from Louisiana in 1987. Leaving life-long friends and family was very difficult for us. Oasis Vineyard and it's pastor, Darrell Evans, made all the difference in the world. They reached out to us immediately and became our family. I can honestly say that God's use of this church in our lives is one of the main reasons we are still in Utah today. A big thanks to Oasis Vineyard for its service and sacrifice in the name of Jesus.

The unofficial Vineyard motto is a "place for everyone to play," meaning if you're a fan of data entry, if you love audio mixing, if you love email newsletters, then there's a place for you here. The folks at the Oasis are loving, loyal, and people I'm proud to have known for almost 3 years before moving to Vegas. If you're brand new to Utah, stop by, have a cup of joe, and be welcomed. They love Jesus, and they love the people in the Salt Lake Valley.
