Madsen is fine if you have a simple, temporary ailment, and you understand your insurance plan. However, they missed my diagnosis which another doctor found easily, you will never have a doctor that knows you as they rotate theirs every year, and when I didn't understand my new insurance didn't cover $20 of my visit, they sent my account to the attorney general's office in 2 months. No calls. No emails. No notice.
I've seen about three different providers and really like each one. They're patient and take time to answer all of my questions.
I love this place so much! They are so kind and helpful. This is the best place I've been to for health care.
If I could give this place zero stars for absolutely horrible, I would. Unfortunately, I can't. This place is a joke! I had a scheduled appointment, took work off and drove in rush hour traffic to make it early, to be told "it's been cancelled!" This place after they confirmed it. The girl couldn't tell me how it got cancelled. It was a mystery I guess. The next available appt. was a week from that. Furious, and even though she was supposed to be following up with me for a follow up dues to me coming in with horrible stomach pains and nausea. My appt was scheduled almost a week later. Then I get a call that they have to reschedule because she's out for 3 days and he next appt with anyone is another week. Are you kidding me???? This is a doctor appt not a damn nail appt. So disappointing. I would never ever recommend this s*^t of a place to anyone.
Frankly, the U used to be a reliably great place for care, but since their recent money rush (so many new medical buildings on campus devoted to profiting on medicine) and partnership with the HCI, their hubris has trickled down to the level where patients are no longer the priority, the money is.
Love this Clinic. Love U of U health. Great doctors, great care.
