I called to ask a couple simple questions and he shouted at me 3 or 4 times how long do you need how long do you need he said people say they only need 5 minutes and they yack and yack. If he could give him NO stars I would he was a complete jackass.
When I found myself in a situation where I required family related legal assistance, I asked around and did lots of research. It was very important to me to find legal representation that was fair, honest, and well experienced. This is definitely a time in a person’s life where they feel exposed and vulnerable. I wanted to make sure that whomever I chose to represent me would make me feel at ease with not only their experience but in how they interact on a personal level. I wasn’t looking for someone that was going to be aggressive for the sake of making the other side lose everything, I was looking for someone that would help me to determine what was right and fair for both sides, and then would help to carry that out appropriately and professionally. When researching online, I found the website for Utah Family Law. I was pleasantly surprised with the wealth of information that was available on their website. Many of the questions and answers that were posted on their website were exactly what I was looking to know, prior to making a choice regarding which firm I would place my trust in. I called and talked to one of their associates, McKail Hamilton. I could not have been more pleased with the knowledge that she had, but also the degree of compassion and understanding on a personal level. I made and appointment to go into the office. After meeting McKail and Eric, I was perfectly at ease to hire them to represent me. Although I needed their services for only a short period of time, the interaction I had with Utah Family Law was professional, honest, and fair. I received advice from them covering many different options and angles. They made sure to understand my situation and tailor their services to my exact needs. I always knew where we stood at any moment in time with status, billing, court deadlines, action items, etc.., as the communications were prompt and frequent. I always felt I had compassionate and experienced people working for my best interest, whatever that happened to be. I found everyone in the office to be pleasant, personable, and very reassuring. If I ever needed legal counsel in this area again, (let’s be honest- I hope I don’t), I would not hesitate to hire Utah Family Law. If you are in need of family legal counsel, I highly recommend checking out the website and then making an appointment to discuss your legal needs with them.
Eric represented me in my divorce. Awesome job! Won't get all detailed but Eric fought for me every step of the way. He kept me informed even though I was two states away. I would highly reccommend Utah Family Law and Eric Johnson for your divorce.
This is how you know Eric is a terrible attorney. I won my case. I feel like I won my case in spite of my attorney, not because of him. He dragged it on for over 2 years, was arrogant, belittling, and cost me thousands. Just 2 months after my case was closed, I had to go back to court and represented myself because he had neglected to file an important form. Your better off doing it yourself than hiring this crook. Also, notice how he responds to his bad reviews with accusations of being a legitimate person etc. where other firms respond far more professionally...... there's your sign. That's the treatment you get overall with Eric. Retain someone else.
I had an interview with Eric to be his Legal Assistant, at the end of the interview he offered me the job. I excitedly accepted the job, and put in my two weeks at my current job. After work hours I got an email from Eric telling me he could no longer offer me the job because his financial circumstances would not allow it.(after he told me I had the job). I understand times are tough but he should have considered his financial status before offering a full time job. I am praying and hoping I am not unemployed becasue of bills I have to pay.
I ususally don't write reviews, but I want to share my expreince with Eric so that no one else has to go through what I went through.
From my exprience with Eric he might be a good guy, however he is unproffesional and unprepared when it came to work related matters. I know from my college exprience those are the two most important things to have in a lawyer.
