Not nearly enough space to comfortably fit the amount of people in it. Barely any quiet spaces to speak of.
Fantastic place to study, work, and relax. Open to the public and filled with tools for knowledge.
There are a bunch of open spaces for group study, but that doesn't compensate very well for the lack of private desks along the wall without other desks right next to you.
I was going to transfer my remaining school year here from University of Washington but after what I heard from a friend of mine that these library staffs has been profiling my friend and seeing how unacknowledged of the staffs here and that students have absolute power to do as they pleased, I immediately withdraw my transfer. I did visited the library and see how my friend are doing. At first, I thought that my buddy is joking about how unacknowledged the staffs here (especially the student staffs) and I went to test them. To my surprise, they hardly know anything about computers or how to fix them. How do they hires such ignorance? Just because they are student doesn't make them special or know it all. They must of know someone from the inside job to even get it, otherwise, I can't imagine how they got the job (boot-lick is other options). I don't know why people give Marriott Library a 4 or 5 stars. Bunch of lying and hypocrites people in this building.
People who come sit at your table without even asking you, which is basic manners.
