OH MY GOD!!!!!
I went in and was having the worst night ever and this nice gentlman named Jake greeted me and helped me decide what i wanted. it's because of employees like home that keep us coming back! Thank you jake for helping me out tonight.
Besides that, the pizza didn't taste terrible, but if I had seen the poor hygiene of those men before hand I would have ordered somewhere eles.
I'm giving this 2 stars because the pizza wasn't terrible. The service however.....Omg where do I begin? I called to order 3 pizzas and had a 50% off coupon. 3 pizzas multiplied by 22 bucks each is 66. 50% off would bring that to 33 bucks plus tax. The guy on the phone kept arguing with me over the price and said it was 44 bucks because he gave me some other discounts that made it cheaper. I didn't want to teach math skills over the phone so I asked if I could pay when I picked my pizza up. Once I arrived I was met with 3 big harry, sweaty, smelly men who were running the place. I seriously had to take out my calculator and show them how to add up the prices of the pizza. When I said "66 dollars divided by 2 to get the 50 percent off..." I was stopped by one of the guys and he said "but how do you know that dividing it by 2 is exactly 50%?""
I've tried a few pizzas, taken a lot of recommendations and tried different places. We all know how the ads go for this chain of pizza joints and I am just not impressed. Every time I try their pepperoni it just flat out isn't good. It must be the pepperoni because other pizzas are edible but just not that good. I want so bad to like it because some I come across rave about it but I have a handful of places I'd go before here.
I hardly ever write reviews, but after "Above and beyond" customer service from Samuel Fairbrother , I feel like I need to! This Papa Johns location isn't my go-to spot. But after a self induced mixup, the management here made the situation right, and put customer above business. I was very impressed. And now I will only order from this location. Oh ya, and of course the pizza was great :) BBQ Chicken always hits the spot. And they did a great family size with some bread sticks perfectly. Keep it up!
There is nothing particularly wrong with Papa John's, except for the fact that they just aren't that great a deal anymore. Nice people to deal with and I do like their pizza (particularly the thin crust) but I can bake one myself from another vendor and spend 40% of what PJ's costs.
