Good park, dog friendly, make sure not to go during a soccer practice though! Field is level with a good hill on one side for sledding and note many folks dips to risk rolling an ankle on running.
Amazing views of the city, great grass but only a port-a-potty. Park here to head to the mountain bike path.
Always love visiting parks and most here in Utah are really clean.

....took a small break from the University of Utah Burn Center, stopped at Popperton Park, and enjoyed the view of Salt Lake City.... beautiful !!!
