When we considered moving into the community we went to the office to submit an application, and we were met with a sour faced young lady at the desk. She immediately asked if we met the age requirement, and when we started to explain the situation she cut us off. She rudely told us the strict rules, and when we explained that's not what we had been told she cut us off again. She tells us how strict the age rules are, which is interesting because the seller we were working with doesn't even meet the age requirements.
I guess not getting in is for the best because their rules and regulations are extremely strict, in-depth, the lot rent is extremely expensive, and I don't even want to think about trying to live there if they are that rude to new applicants.
This park states it is for 55 and older, there are many families living here, some have children and there are many adult children under 40 in this park. Not a big deal for me. The problem? My son is getting divorced needs help and because my neighbor doesn't like my granddaughters at my home every other weekend, I am being evicted. I was not asked by management about my situation, I was simply served with eviction paperwork. The park refused to hear anything I had to say. So here are some words for the home buyer, be very careful who you live by. Some neighbors are decent, some are creepers that stalk women, my neighbor has stalked me from the day I moved in, and when my granddaughters are here, he stands outside of his house and takes pictures of 2,4,6, year old little girls despite having the police called, and gets away with it. I wouldn't stay here even if I wasn't evicted. The park management is supportive of the bullies in the park that don't like kids and will alter rules if the park to suit them. Living in this park is like living in a prison.
The houses in the park seem to be well maintained, and with all the big trees it does feel like it's own little haven from the surrounding world but that's where it seems to stop. The roads are in horrible shape, with speed bumps that may require a Sherpa to cross.
My father has lived here since the 70s. They took good care of the grounds but i think with it being a senior community they should offer some sort of assistance for their residence
I just moved here. I plan to stay.So far,so good.
