I didn't spend to much time there but I'd say that between the Office Supply store, Best Buy, & Carl's Jr it's a good place.
Went to office depot and best buy. Office depot had everything we needed and more. When we went to Best Buy they didn't just try to sell us a new laptop they asked about our old one and advised that we bring it in.
The Trax Central Point Station is nearby and give me you easy entrance and egress from the area.
Also other businesses like RC Willey, Home Depot & McDonald's are in the area.
Best Buy, Office Depot, Gun Store, Bike Shop, Carl's JR., Main Street Financial,. Popular spot for transients and other undesirable types. Not uncommon to be asked for spare change, the time, to use your phone to call someone, and other service, goods, or assistance that those who depend on the kindness of others and welfare of the state to provide in an effort to continue to eek out a miserable existence. Not a place to spend any significant period of time outside the security of one of the stores. Don't show up early to catch a train, and if you do go into Best Buy to wait, unless you enjoy being engaged in interactions with miscreants who don't really give you a choice otherwise.
The Best Buy here is very nice for the area. Staff is very friendly and eager to help. The Carl’s is fine but is frequented by homeless and makes it a little uncomfortable only because they don’t care if your eating they will walk right up and ask for money or your food. Trax and UTA busses can be accessed here with buses to the u of u and trains to the airport, downtown, daybreak, west valley, streetcar to sugar house and u of u. Be carful that if your taking the train you park in the designated area or you may be towed if in any other lots.
There are a number of great stores including Best Buy. With the location being on the corner of a busy intersection getting into the parking lot is not easy. There is plenty of parking when you get in. The staff at the Best Buy were great. I have not found a Best Buy in Salt Lake that has the number of available staff that this one does.
