The new management is really putting some work into this place. Love all the new art work. Cozy seating areas with gas fire paces to warm yourself by. There is a lot of work still being done. It appeared that in some areas most of the upper level was vacant and under construction. LDS Bridal shop is no longer there however there are still some fun places like Game stop and Bath and body works

I love the shops at the gateway, and I love that it's an outdoor mall. The new owners have made it look nicer and have some a good job at cleaning the homeless people from hanging around. People didn't typically go there with the previous owners because the homeless shelter is next door and the homeless would go to the mall and harass the patrons for money. Now that it has been cleaned up more, it is nice to go.

I haven’t been here in a while and it is stunning! The Christmas lights and benches with fires nearby make this place absolutely amazing. The shops here are great and have fun workers.

I don't get why people are giving this place hate for its parking? The parking is literally the best thing about it. It's cheap (sometimes even free, depending on the day) and there is a lot of it! I like the parking here better than the parking at City Creek or surrounding places. The store options are really sad as are the food options. LUCKILY, they are being renovated and a Dave and Busters is even going in (which I am extremely excited for). I think their overall rating will skyrocket after all the construction is gone. The Gateway used to be the best place before City Creek took over. Hopefully this renovation will reclaim their reputation. I have hope for The Gateway!

Mixed feeling about this mall. I can't say it's all the mall's fault, but the area is so run down that most of the usual clientele would rather be anywhere else. While lots of restaurants and shops have left the area, new ones are still coming in so it's not all bad, even if the selection is constantly changing making it hard to predict what's available. We'll just say this mall could still pull off being fantastic with enough work, but I'm not going to bet either way.

The choices for food are wonderful as well. There are the more expensive, date-night restaurants or the cheaper, faster food choices. This mall is a great stop!
