The staff here was very friendly. The young lady helping us may have been a little new. She didn't have the answers to several questions but they were answered quick enough by another staff member. The cake is very good. Great flavor and moist. If I lived here, this would be my regular bakery for cakes and treats.
When I returned the gold cake base, I let them know that the knife set did not come. Their response was that it was sent to another address. No apology for the inconvience they caused as my daughter's reception was about to start.
Customer Service is horrible at this place! I sent my brother to pick up my cake order for a surprise baby shower, of course I was busy and he had no clue what the cake was suppose to look like, he brought back a baby blue cake when I Ordered a pink cake for a GIRL baby shower! when the party had started it was to late to take it back! I called to see what could be done for me. the manager said if I wasn't able to take it back nothing could be done! Ridiculous no apology it was like it was my fault for not returning the cake to fix it in the middle of my event! They should of got it done the right way the first time that's why I paid them! I expected a much higher level of professionalism and courtesy from this company. I will no longer do business with them!!!!
We used Granite Bakery for my daughter's wedding cake. We paid to have it delivered and we also rented a gold knife set for the night. They delivered the cake on time but failed to bring the knife set. We spent the next 30 minutes trying to reach them and finally found a silver set to borrow from a friend.
Very helpful and incredibly sweet. The samples were amazing and our helper was knowledgeable and accommodating. We knew exactly what we wanted and with them being so prompt-it was a quick and fun process.
Edit: we got our cake for the wedding and ate it for DAYS. Everyone LOVED it. Beautfully done and it tasted amazing. My new husband moaned in delight. I couldn't be happier
They did refund me the money but I guess they think that weddings happen everyday and it's no big deal if they don't follow through. An apology would have gone a long way to make me feel like they even cared. The least they could have done is offer us a free brownie on the way out. I don't think they took any resposibility for their error.
Friendly staff and the place smells amazing at night. I only wish they were open on Sundays so that I could get their delicious treats on the weekend.
