We decided to just return the first pie and get a refund. The ornery young lady said she won't do either because it's too much work and she doesn't want to bother the manager.

Don't be afraid to speak up and escalate if anyone does business here. I hope they re-train this young woman and promote the other employees who are positive, helpful, and treat customers with respect. If this young woman doesn't improve, then she needs to work in the kitchen or somewhere that doesn't require customer contact.

We love Free Pie Monday! We had seven of us, we got seated immediately, the service was great, the food was delicious, the bill was small. Why aren't there more people eating here. We don't want this restaurant to close! People! Come enjoy a great meal! Really! Don't wait, do it today. I had the meatloaf sandwich, and it was delicious. Rediscover a great treasure.

Not the Marie Callender's of years past. Food is good. Kitchen is slow. Considering there was more wait staff than customers, it was hard to find our waitress. we didn't get waters filled. She did bring out extra gravy which was asked for. Probably won't go back.

My friend and I were relieved but still shocked that one employee was rude and avoiding extra work. I explained to the manager at any of my previous customer service jobs that employees can get put on a final written warning if they take easy way outs, act negative and condescending, and also act like they are the manager.

She acted like it was our fault for not bringing it up or knowing about it to begin with. The other employees even told her that she should've offered us a second pie, "Would you like to add another for $4.99?" similar procedures that Mrs.Fields and other restaurants use. They were very apologetic and congenial unlike this particular employee.

The young lady working yesterday acted more like a bouncer, never smiled once, and was very play-by-the-book and strict when my friend and I explained that we forgot we could get a second pie for $4.99.

Our service was great, the meals were perfectly fine. We each ordered an omelette. Getting tater tots for "hashbrowns" was kinda weird, but still good nonetheless. The boysenberry pie is delicious!

We went there for a seminar and had a piece of their pies and a glass of their restaurant made strawberry lemonade. Both were delicious, but the pie was out of this world. We decided not to stay for dinner, because the menu was a bit too pricey for our taste.

We finally got the manager who was also apologetic and said that there's absolutely no reason why she couldn't have rung up a separate transaction for $4.99.
