We have a pitbull and it's been hard to find a place that will take her as well as let her play with other dogs. K9 is the only place we found that from stay one has welcomed her. She always comes back healthy, happy and even makes a few friends.
This place has changed our lives! We have a giant puppy who's been making life hellish. Someone suggested I take him to doggy daycare to wear him out when we're working. Now he comes home mellow, worn out, and super snuggly. He's also gotten so much better at listening and walking on his leash thanks to Oscar working with him. I've heard horror stories about so many other dog boarding facilities in the area. But these folks are always in with the dogs, watching, ready to break up fights, and discouraging bad behavior (our guy can be a little humpy). I've never even considered boarding one of my pets before, but I honestly think our dog prefers being here than at home these days. Their rates are incredible too, especially if you buy a month's worth of daycare in advance. Of all the places I've recommended in SLC, this is probably the best. We are SO GRATEFUL that we found them!
I absolutely LOVE K9 Behavior Unit for grooming and daycare. I have tried many different grooming places for my Golden Doodle and they by far do the best. I don't know how they do it but they manage to take out the dog smell completely, every time I take him home everyone in the family starts smelling him because it's just incredible how they do it. They also go over beyond when caring for your fur baby during daycare, and I always know he's in good hands. I've had bad experiences at other daycare's in the past but never once had anything questionable happen here. Definitely recommended!
We travel a bit as well and often have last minute needs for overnight boarding. Weekends, holidays...they always find room for her.
I love Oscar and Ruffina! They are fantastic dog handlers and seem to genuinely enjoy working with dogs. We take our little girl here when will be at a long days of work and she always comes home tired. It's also good that the dogs get a safe and well-connected environment to play in, unlike a dog park.
If you love your dog....take them here!!! My Sheltie absolutely loves going to daycare everyday. As a mom of a fur baby, nothing is better than knowing the staff treats your baby with the best care. I also did training with Oscar. LOVE OSCAR!!! 100 STARS!!! I love how patient and positive he is in not only the dogs but the owners. Definitely your one stop dog shop & 100% love & fun guaranteed.
