The front desk was rude and not helpful at all. I looked at the menu in my room for the american grill. Followed the signs to the grill when I got there it was closed for business. No mention in room or elevator it was closed. Why have a menu in the room if its closed?
Our family attended a wedding rehersal as well as rooming at the Marriott university, and the entire setup was beautiful. The lobby is a cozy meeting area, with plenty of seating and a fire feature. All of the rooms we encountered were very nice and clean, and all of the service was friendly and prompt. Next time we are in the salt lake area, we will definitely consider staying here again.
Ate at the other hotel restaurant. Got the buffet . got up to get some more food and came back to an empty table. They cleaned off my table including the check I did not pay for. What restaurant does that?
I recently stayed at the Marriott hotel and my car was broken into. When I went to the front desk to see if they had cameras, the manager refused to come out. The receptionist was kind, but was not able to answer any of my questions. Even after asking specifically for the manager, she refused to come out. Though I understand the car break in was not their fault, the way the situation was handled was so poor that I will never suggest anyone stay there. They assured me that they had “park at your own risk” signs but there is not one to be found at any of the entrances. They also assured me that security walks the grounds routinely. We had only left our car parked for approximately five hours, with the car alarm going off for at least an hour, I do not have faith in that either. We also found out another guest had reported our car being broken into, but they still didn’t follow up. I’ve attempted to file a claim but there has been absolutely no follow up. Because of this experience, I would not suggest staying at the hotel. The guest should have the option to speak with a knowledgeable professional if there is an issue, and we were not given that respect. It is a nice hotel, but they do not back their guests if anything is awry.
This Marriott has by far been the worst of any I've stayed in.
This was a very nice stay. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. There was some pretty serious construction going on with a remodeling project and I was rarely able to hear the noise and was never bothered by it. The staff was attentive and very helpful. The only thing was even mildly bothersome was a small over bed light that wasn't working and the toilet had a leak internally that caused it to try to refill every 45 minutes or so. Again, that was really not anything to complain about. In fact, I only mentioned it to the desk as I was checking out so that they could take a look at it.
One of nicest best kept hotels I have seen in a very long time. The condition of the hotel was superb. Even for Marriott standards this hotel was far nicer then there other hotels. The bed the most luxurious I have slept in, in a very long time. The staff was excellent. Meeting our every need before we even knew we had one. Very friendly and accommodating to any and all of our request. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody I know.
