Fast, friendly salesmen. Not too pushy, but have quality vehicles. Most of them do have a lot of miles on them, but they run nicely.
They've fixed miner problems with the car to make the sale on all of the vehicles that I have purchased. One of which ended up not be such a miner problem and they lost money on the deal but still honestly handled the problem.
I purchased an ‘06 Focus ST from them and it’s been great so far! The car was listed for about $400 lower than blue book so I was very apprehensive at first, but after a couple of drives, I was and still am impressed with their vetting of vehicles on their lot. The car is in excellent condition and all the people working there were accommodating. I had to run to the bank to pick up the check and I wasn’t going to be back until 30 minutes after closing and they were willing to stay so I could pick up the car that day. The car also had the power steering pump, the air selector, and the trunk light fixture missing or broken and he had them all replaced for me before I drove it off the lot.
I've now bought 3 cars
I was upfront with Steve about cost and he gave me a 'deal' because of it. He was polite and friendly but unfortunately we had problems. Our vehicle passed inspection, but it hadn't. The wipers were past shot and the back was so bad when I ran them on the way home it scratched the glass! Far more galling were the dangerous tires. Steve claimed they weren't that bad, but to make a long story short they were down to the threads and could have blown at any time, endangering my family. Yes he got us a discount on new tires (we paid for them), but it wasn't right that we were in a dangerous situation and Steve just blamed his sole inspector (only inspector at the shop I've since learned.). Steer clear of this place, even with his low $75 dealer fee (you still pay for the inspection on your paperwork) unless you get it inspected yourself. Dangerous and frustrating.
I have bought 2 cars from this dealership. This is how my experience has been. First off they sell used cars and used cars are unpredictable. Because of this I asked to take the cars to an independent mechanic both times they agreed without hesitation. When I returned the cars with a list of issues and NADA book value it was easy to make a fair deal. These guys need to make money and I understand that. I believe win win is possible when both parties do their homework. They never tried to trap me, rush me, or sell me worthless coverage. In the end do your homework, trust your gut, and be ready to pass on any deal. :)
When my car does give out (hopefully many years in the future given how well it’s done) I’ll definitely look here again for another great deal!
But as far as my experience with this dealership I'm happy and will probably look here again in the future if I need another cars.
As far some of the more negative reviews I’ve seen for here, buying a used car has risks in it. If there’s clearly something wrong with it and you’re just going to “overlook it” because the car is a good deal, you can’t blame the dealership when something goes wrong. My car had the battery die two months after I purchased it and that’s what happens with older cars. Don’t whine about it. If you take the car out for appropriate test drives (they’re more than accommodating—I had the car on test drives for more than an hour before I bought it), any issues at the time of sale will be fairly obvious.
They are deffently in business to make money and they are selling used cars as is. so make sure to do your research and check out the car before buying.
