When first getting her out of her kennel I immediately saw a huge cut on her front leg. My cat was in good condition hair wise she did not have any matted or bad hair. Her hair was only on the longer side. And then I discovered her mouth bleeding and on closer inspection she had a sore that was bleeding from her mouth. Nothing else looked too bad until I got her home and then found she had a few more cuts on her belly.
Took our dog in to get him groomed. They did a great job. Will be bringing him back again, possibly monthly now. He's a mix of lab, basenji, akita and boxer but he looks like a plott hound with shorter ears.
I am not happy with the experience at all. I understand that accidents can happen but it makes it all the worse when I happen to find cuts like this all over my animal on my own. If I had been talked to and shown any sort of empathy or remorse it might have made it a little better. But it is evident that they don't care about any customers or animals. This was my first trip there and I will not be coming back.
We recently moved to the area and I wanted to find a new groomer around us. I searched and found Fur R We and by the pictures I could see it was a well established grooming place. Despite reading some bad reviews, though there were also great ones, I decided to give this place a try for its proximity to us and I'm so glad I did! Our mini schnauzer came back exactly how we wanted her to look. Even after having gone so long without a cut, poor thing. Her parents got busy remodeling, selling a home, moving and having a human baby so she got neglected a bit. Glad to be settled with a new human baby and a freshly cut beautiful mini schnauzer babe too! Thanks Fur R We!
Amazing groomer. I have never had any issues with them they are always kind and caring and I know they will do what's best for my dog, if they need to go a little shorter for matting so they don't hurt my pup, that is what is most important to me, having my dog being very well taken care of. But they always do it just how I like it and he always looks amazing after. Great place
I called Fur R We when I got home to find out what had happened during the hair cut because no one said anything about her getting cut multiple times during her visit. By this time I was worried upon seeing her having so many bad cuts all over her body and Meow was not acting like herself either. I called in and the second that I said who I was the receptionist immediately knew the reason for my call and gave me to the groomer. I spoke with Victoria who gave me a half baked story about how she was going to talk to me but didn't realize I had come to pick up Meow. She had nothing to tell me about her getting cut other then she had accidentally clipped her. I asked if they bandage the cuts or anything when this happens and she told me the cut was not too bad and it would be fine. Not having any sort of apology or anythung. Instead treating me like I was over reacting. I asked about the bloody mouth and she would not even tell me anything about what happened. She stated that she did not know, but when I picked her up she had blood falling out of her mouth down her face. A little hard to miss I would think. She gave nothing in return for my bad experience other then telling me to let them know if the cut gets worse.
My cat has always loved going to get her hair cut, her last groomer always had amazing things to say about her. She never fought or had a bad temper when getting her hair done at all.
I took my cat Meow in on 09/13 for an appointment. When I took her in I told the receptionist that she was to not have a bath or have any shampoo or conditioner used because of my allergy to a lot of chemicals and I gave instructions on how I wanted her to be cut. She likes the lion cut but with absolutely no hair on her legs or tail and a very short mane. She came back with fur on her feet and smelling of scented something so I assume she was given on a bath.
The haircuts they do look really good, but they don't accept cards which means they would rather inconvenience their customers and save a couple bucks. Also we handed the cashier the cash which we had to run to the bank for, and she didn't give us the change, just assuming it was a tip! You give the change due back no matter what and let the customer decide if and how much they want to tip. Top it all off there is half a dozen places near it that are much cheaper, 60$ for a little dog is rediculous. It sucks that good work is overshadowed by poor business practices. We will not be getting our dogs haircuts here from now on.
