Made it to the store right before it closed at 7pm. Found the blue buffalo dog food and was greeted at the register by a super friendly woman who even though it was closing time still spoke to my dog and offered treats! Will be returning!
Good selection of food, great customer service. The staff is very knowledgeable regarding animals of all breeds. My dog loves them!
A week ago I got hamster. When I got her the store was SUPER busy that day and they conveniently "forgot" to tell me that their animals can easily catch what is called Wet Tail. Which is super fatal to hamsters. Whelp my hamster lasted a whole 24 hrs before passing from wet tail. I took pictures and videos of her (when she was alive and obviously sick) back to them and asked them if they knew what it was which they then educated me on wet tail. (Also note I've had many hamsters in my life and NEVER heard of wet tail before this). They seemed genuinely sorry and refunded me what I paid for her. I then decided to adopt another hamster from them after being educated on wet tail and how to prevent/treat it. I felt more confident in it. I bought the medicine to give my hamster to treat/prevent it and went on my way. I disinfected the entire cage everything in it and the hamster ball. I threw out any uneaten old food and old bedding and started new. Well now it's been almost a week since I started new and low and behold my other hamster just passed again from f***ing wet tail even with me giving her the medicine and watching closet for early signs. I then took her back before she had even passed since they told me to cause within 30 days of adopting her any vet bills would be covered through them. This time they weren't as genuinely sorry or nice. They literally told me "oh she's dying. We can schedule a vet for 48 hrs from now. But she's definitely dying... we can exchange you for a new one if you want." They acted SO nonchalant about it. Like it definitely wasn't the first time just based off how they reacted.(also it was a different person than the man I'd spoken to before who seemed more genuine and sorry about my hamster passing). I am disgusted that any establishment would even be providing pets to people when they're already sick. I've now had my heart broken twice within the last week and I feel like I've wasted so much of my time. I'm so sad that my sweet girls are gone and that they had to die so suddenly and there was nothing I could do for them. I'm also so sad that they were exposed to those kinds of conditions and that any other animals are being exposed to them probably as we speak.
Bought a "male" guinea pig only to find out I really had a pregnant female on my hands. When I went in to inform them and ask what they suggest, especially since "SHE" is within the 30 day care period, they said, "well, you can breed them and have lots of guinea pigs. Or just bring her back to switch her out for a different one." I don't think so. Not acceptable. That is my family member.
I am SO upset you guys. Oh my god.
Went into this store after adopting a new kitten. The staff was knowledgable and friendly. All the supplies we needed were easy to find.
