Best (somewhat) under the radar spot that you can find in SLC. Upstairs is fantastic and cheap. Downstairs is fantastic-er and fancy.
The concept of this establishment is pretty cool. It's like a speakeasy. You go in the top and it's sort of this chill place where you can get beer and play a game and just talk. And then a space becomes available you go to this really cool hidden area in what I guess is the basement of the building. They have really good mixed drinks and small plates. I highly recommend checking this place out. You may have a way though and I think you can make reservations though I've never actually gone so far. I've also been turned away for wearing athletic clothes. Which I think I was actually just wearing sweats and it may not of even been me it could've been someone I was with we didn't really think anything of it.
I had only heard stories of the Bodega... the hype vs. the experience will not let you down! Food dishes... amazing. The ambiance is unmatched. If you come to Salt Lake, do dinner here!
