I love everything about this place except the SERVICE. The last time I was there I waited 15 minutes and didn't even get an acknowledgment that I was there. The time before that I waited 10 minutes before I got a glass of water. The servers that are there are working hard but don't have the ability to multitask.
Service and food used to be phenomenal but has declined in the last 6 months. Taco Tuesday was the best, but now the food quality has dwindled to were the tacos are just okay. Combined with a 1.5 hour wait, not the worst but not the best experience. Hopefully they figure things out soon!
Incredible deal for these tacos on Tuesday! Only $2 and only $4 regularly. Nice vibe, easy going place. Definitely will return to try the pizza as that's their specialty. Friendly and attentive staff.
Tonight was a (potentially) bad night turned great for Spedelli's. Short-staffed and flustered, Nick, Sam, and guy (didn't catch your name, sorry!) handled the crowd like champs. I showed up, before the dinner rush, for a quick bite and beer and saw their teamwork and customer service flourish in a tough spot. Not all "pizza boys" can handle demanding customers, catch every table timely, keep beverages and tables full, split checks in unique ways (seriously 1 pizza 4 ways...?!) all while they kept customers happy. In the time Spedelli's has been in the neighborhood we've only gone a handful of times, but after tonight, we'll go more often. *Side note - Full bar selection and food were great, too*
I've been here quite a few times for their spicy agave wings and house made tots that arent really anything like normal tots but are awesome in their own right. The wings are killer too so that's all ive ever ordered. Servers are usually quiet and get the job done. I'd like to come in when it's not lunch and have a few drinks sometime.
Hire some more help or get some servers with experience and I'll come back.
