Great food. Great coffee. Friendly service. Casual atmosphere that is a bit busy when full.
One of Salt Lake's oldest and most established restaurants, you can hardly do better for breakfast or brunch than Finn's Cafe. It is now run by the son of the original owner, I believe, and his wife, and every single dish must meet with their approval before it goes out. They are almost always there in their chefs whites, and she hand makes all the pastries. It was located up the street for something like fifty years, and has been in its current location for another couple decades. Need I say more?

If you're weird like me and love fish at any and all times of the day, this is the spot for you. Their poached trout breakfast is delicious and filling as well as a hint exotic with the dill and other spices its poached/marinated in. Bit fan of Finn's and will definitely be revisiting many times in the future!
I loved the food here. I am definitely going again. My only problem is that they aren't open longer.
