Oasis is a great place for vegetarian vegan and gluten-free options. More than being environmentally sensitive though, their food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. It's also fun to be right next to Golden Braid bookstore where I almost always browse after having a nice brunch.
When we had got to the cafe and put our names on the waiting list I had noticed there were 12 Empty Tables. The lady then said there would be at least a 25-minute wait due to them being so full. We waited around a few minutes and then left within 5 minutes. I had called The Oasis Cafe back to see if I could put my name on the waiting list again. The lady then said there was no waiting list and they could see this as soon as we got there. How freaking annoying. It seems like the cafe needs to hire better employees.
We landed here because it was pretty much the only place open on Sunday & we needed food before our flight home. The food was pretty good. There was a couple items our party tried that weren't the best but weren't terrible either. The Spicy Chicken sandwich wasn't spicy at all but was decent. The Reuben was pretty tasty. The house salad that came with the sandwiches was delicious! The German Pancake was really, really good! It comes out looking like a cake but tastes like a pancake & it's huge. The Breakfast Sandwich was also tasty. Overall, our party was very satisfied! The staff was very friendly & the place was clean.
Chic and modern, there's lots of healthy and light brunch options here along with a great dessert and coffee selection. This is one of my favorite places to get lunch with work colleagues or to hold lunch meetings.
I tried the Beet Tower salad. It was alright, but not really worth the price. Service is a little on the slow side, and not the most attentive. Facilities are nice.
