Very cool and tasty cafe. Great little stop for breakfast. It is a fun little diner with some solid traditional style foods. They have a great staff and good coffee. It is in weird strip mall and a little noisy inside but that's part of the allure of the place.
The food is always delicious. They have quick friendly service and treat us like family. We prefer breakfast here over any other spot in the valley.
The service was really good and the food was awesome! I had the French Toast Breakfast, my husband got the Cheese Omelette, and my daughter got the Pancake Breakfast. We all loved it, we will be going there again and I recommend this to anyone and everyone. Oh and I almost forgot, the portion sizes are big too! We were able to take some home for later.
I love this place. They have a great menu of classic diner fare but they make it more exciting with options like banana walnut pancakes. The service is quick, the staff is laid back. Try the fresh scone with honey (weekdays only). The prices are very reasonable and I have never had to wait for a seat. I've tried other breakfast/brunch spots around town but I don't bother going anywhere else anymore when I could be at Over the Counter.
Very good food, great old fashion ambiance. Gave it a 4 star instead of 5 only for a potential inconvenience in the self seating.
