I think the concept is darling. I was happy with my experience there and my daughter had fun. I agree with other reviews that by the time kids are around 5 or so they probably won't have much interest to play there. And I did expect the space to be larger. It's quite small and seems to feel too crowded very easily. My advice would be to go during hours that are typically slow.

My children love this place. It's such a great option when we are in the mood for a more low key play day. I love that I can get a cup of coffee and get work done with the free wifi while my children are having fun and engaged. I know that it is a small business and so resources are limited but do wish the toys always had working batteries and things like the train tracks are mostly broken which is always disappointing to my boys. But I am very happy to support a local, growing business and I hope with time it'll just keep getting better and better!

I drove up from Springville to see this place that my friend wanted to meet up at. I had grabbed my kids from the splash pad with their aunt to check out this "fun and exciting" place for them to play. It was also around lunch time so I was hungry and expecting cafe food. When I walked in my son (who is 5) mentioned that there wasn't even a playground (he was disappointed and rather bored the whole time) and was a little sticker shocked by the $6/kid price since there wasn't much more than a few couches and baby toys (just for more of a price perspective... a bounce house is typically $3/kid and is much more fun for the kids). The main positive thing that I will mention and the reason why I gave this review 2 stars instead of 1 is that they required socks and I didn't have any I was going to purchase them but then they decided to leave them off the bill for my kids to play. Since I was hungry I was very disappointed that their only food options were piddly and expensive. I ended up getting a Costco Brand Hummus plate that came with a few veggies one Costco pita and a small Costco cup of hummus. I was rather underwhelmed and wished they had more items passed the toddler stage for kids to play with. I felt bad that I had grabbed my kids from something that they were really enjoying to come play with dress ups that we have at home and a play house that is the same exact house they have at their grandma's. Not to leave this review all negative I do want to list some pros. The place is really clean, I liked the atrium windows that look over the kids play area, the idea is really cute and could probably do well if they fixed a few things which are: reduce the price of entrance, add an indoor playground that appeals to the older children (the place is small so this might not work.... but they do have 4 of the same playhouses nix 3 of those), have more and better food options (I did notice after the fact that online they state that they have salads but that wasn't apparent when I was there even when I asked about several food options they said I could have a grilled cheese... ) I understand that it is a small business and I love eating local and give my business to local places so I do hope that this place can become the place that I was expecting when I arrived.

Dear storybook place PLEASE tell parents to control the screaming kids that leave your building. There is a café near you with people trying to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee as well as an apartment building with some elderly people that is tired of having to listen to children screaming uncontrollably for 15 minutes as you loiter around your building. The parking lot carries the sounds everywhere else. Please have some common courtesy---some of us work nights (or we work 2 jobs--no time for couch and coffee party at storybook) and heaven forbid want to crack a window. We are tired of hearing the live "daycare" that happens going in and out of your business.

Love this place!!! We had my daughter’s first birthday and had a great time. They have a good variety of toys for children and they are clean. Even when I haven’t hosted a party, I’ve enjoyed bringing my children and enjoying a coffee with a friend. Perfect for play dates! Every person who came to the party was so impressed and couldn’t wait to come back and to bring their own family and friends!
