It's was very loud but I liked the crowd and diner style.
Came for breakfast and have been here for lunch before. The food always hits the spot. Coffee or water at the door while you wait to be seated. Small group of 2 or 3 and the wait is maybe 10-15 minutes. Larger groups will be more like 20-30 minutes. Single person Cafe seating available. Indoor and covered/ heated patio seating. Right across the street from Liberty Park. Fairly low pricing and big portions. Clean bathroom with changing table. The cafe is small, so it's loud with the conversations of others and tight squeeze to move past other tables. Waiters are fairly prompt in their service and food runners come around to fill up your drinks at a good pace. Overall good experience.
Kind od long wait times to get in on the weekend but well worth the wait! The service is fast and great and the food is amazing! It comes out really quick after you order too! Super great atmosphere. The tables are kind of close but that just helps with the friendly environment. 10/10 would recommend
Also cool Spanish language Star Wars movie posters were up and staff was great.
I love this place. Let me say it again, I LOVE THIS PLACE. There can be long lines but I typically come in the lunching hour so there generally isn't a wait. They have great daily specials but I have a few standbys that I prefer. The Michigan Hash always hits a high note. You can't go wrong with the biscuits and gravy. The french toast is always light and fluffy. They also have a tremendous chicken fried steak. Great sourdough bread and homemade jam always tops it off. The staff is friendly, speedy and concerned that they got the order right.
Hand down the best place for a great breakfast at a great price in SLC. If I’m in a hurry I will roll solo and get a seat at the bar. I kid you not I can order, eat my whole meal, pay, and be out the door in 20 minutes. I love everything about this place as long as I can get a seat ;) Thanks for all your hard work guys! Your business is incredible!
Generous portion sizes. I got the mini chef salad and had to get a box. Usually I eat my plate and others but my wife had to box half her sandwich too.
