He would have got 5 stars from us because he was great. Right now we are thoroughly disgusted. I noticed since he got rid of all of us oldies he has room for new patients. We cannot believe this. So if you plan on going there for years plan on being dropped when you go on Medicare. We were great when my husband was still working and had good insurance but we got dropped like hot potatoes now that we are on Medicare. We loved Dr. MUSE but we really soured against him. He was more like a friend and we actually did not mind going to the Dr.

I have been seeing Dr. Muse for about 3 years for maintenance care and have been a model patient. I even considered him somewhat of a friend. I now see how naive I was to place such trust in him.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Muse today. This was a refreshing experience as he actually took the time to listen to all my concerns and address them all. He was very patient and thorough. For the first time in a long time I felt as if I really mattered to a Doctor. Would defiantly recommend to family and friends.

Dr Muse for the win. Actually CARES about his patients. I was referred to a spinal neurosurgeon and later found out that Dr Muse had been keeping informed of my treatments without my even asking, just to make sure I was being treated. Do I recommend I'm? He££ yes!!

So here I am, left out in the cold with no recourse.

I got a phone call from a receptionist out of the blue today telling me that Dr. Derek Muse refuses to treat me further, with no warning, no explanation, no referrals to another provider, NOTHING, despite repeated requests. I'm on a long-term medication that I cannot just simply stop taking without tapering off or seeking medical treatment from a detox facility.

I'm very hurt by the decision made by Dr. Muse. I would have never expected such despicable treatment from him. I'm looking into the legality of dropping patients in the middle of treatment who actively need care and from what I've read, doctors are required to send a letter in the mail and provide treatment until you have found another provider, neither of which have happened. Regardless of what I learn on that side, it is highly unethical, unprofessional, and in my opinion, morally bankrupt. Bottom line, you should be able to trust your doctor and rest easy knowing you can rely on them. That unfortunately was not my experience.

I'm trying to think about what might have gone wrong, and I can think of nothing. From day one, I religiously followed all expectations set by him, always made it on time to appointments, and have always been completely honest and transparent. I've never had an outstanding bill, I fill my scripts on time and at the same pharmacy, I have insurance through my employer which has not changed, I'm not on Medicaid. There is no logical reason for him to suddenly drop a patient that has had such a great rapport with him without explanation. I just saw him two weeks ago for my regularly scheduled appointment—everything was routine, and he gave no indication what-so-ever that this was coming. He's also conveniently out of town so I can't speak with him to verify that this is not just some egregious mistake. According to his receptionist, he wouldn't speak with me anyway.

I called in today , June 26 2017 to schedule an appointment and was appalled of Valerie's bad attitude. It is extremely disappointing she represents the front office because that's the impression you receive as a brand new patient. I had a few concerns and her rebuttal was pure attitude by raising her voice and repeating herself . I'm allowed to kindly express my concerns. Unfortunately, our entire family will have to go to a different practice that absolutely provides 100 percent customer service! Disgusted !!!
