Most recently, I brought in a rough design for a custom ring, and they texted me a fully-rendered picture of what it was going to look like before they made it. It looked exactly like what I wanted, and when I picked up the ring, it looked just like the rendering. I could not recommend them more highly.
I brought in my engagement ring to be resized and my anniversary ring to be rebuilt and stabilized after damage and was very happy with the wonderful work that Steadman's did! I expected a small family business to take longer, but they got the work done quickly and with great attention to detail. They charged a fair price for the labor, and my rings were so sparkly because they threw in a free polishing as well. The people working at Steadman's are all friendly and knowledgeable, and the owner in particular was clearly passionate about his craft. I'll certainly be going back to Steadman's for all of my future jewelry needs.
I took my wedding ring to them. A couple of the diamonds were loose, they had very good costumer service, great prices, and my ring was done within a week. They also got all of the scratches out of my ring and made it 10 times more sparkly. I love the results. :)
Had mine, when I was 8, and my 7 month old daughter's ears pierced here. I trust their expertise and know the earrings are truly solid gold and won't cause skin reactions. Great family run place!
Two stars because they may redeem themselves with their work. They're impossible to get a hold of. They don't answer their phone, and don't respond to voicemails. Crappy hours to try to go to the store, in lieu of their lack of phone skills.
Steadman's has made a lot of jewelry for my wife and me over the years, and I've always been extremely happy with the results and the prices. Things from a catalog, custom designs of their own, custom designs we brought in... Everything has been outstanding.
