Incredibly skilled and attentive jewelers, my whole family have gotten pieces from them and I am proud to say that they just made my first piece.
I got my engagement ring from the Jeweler's Guild last year. I love their selection of antique replicas. Anyone looking for an antique or retro style ring that doesn't have the pockets or patience for finding an actual antique piece of jewelry this is your place. Literally hundreds of styles made with your choice of metal and stone. Andrew was great to work with too. He really wants you to have exactly what you want and he's not pushy at all. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for engagement/wedding rings or custom jewelry.
Instead of sensing sales pressure, Andrew has expressed great excitement in all of the things I've looked at. I can tell he loves their creations- and that's important! On top of all of that, if you find something you like (but you aren't quite in love with it) they can modify or design anything you can imagine. Here is another anecdote providing evidence of this: I have collected small amounts of placer gold panning streams . I really wanted this to be in my piece because of the sentimental value. Before visiting the Guild, I had gone to other stores and expressed this desire and everybody laughed at me while saying, "You think we cast our own jewelry?" When I brought up this idea with Andrew, he thought it was a great idea and said it wouldn't be a problem! In fact, they actually weighed out the gold and deducted its weight from the cost of my item! I am now waiting for the piece with great excitement and I cannot wait to brag about it!
These guys are definitely skilled craftsman who do honest work and treat all patrons with gratitude and respect.
My interest in The Jewelers Guild was spurred after walking past the shop daily and always wondering about the name and unique storefront. When I finally decided to go in, I was blown away by the detail put into every piece on display. The jewelry and ornamental pieces created here are certainly worthy of being displayed in a shop with "guild" in its name. After seeing the displays, it is obvious that Andrew and Lincoln are skilled craftsmen who work together to produce incredible pieces of jewelry/art for all of us to enjoy.
Andrew has shown so much patience in dealing with me and has never expressed irritation with my indecisiveness. He has been helpful in my shopping experience, despite my painstakingly slow jewelry shopping habit! To emphasize this point, I first visited the shop in September 13, it is now 5/9 and I have only just confirmed my order. I can't imagine any other store putting up with a customer like myself! Andrew recognized that I was shopping for an important person (and an important occasion) and allowed me to dive into the world of custom jewelry, completely free of pressure!
