Amazing building. Our room was comfortable and unique. The best part of our stay was the hostess that greeted us. She is a sweetheart. She even helped repair my camera. If you have business or pleasure dealings in downtown Salt Lake City this is a great place to stay.
This is the perfect bed-and-breakfast, with gorgeous rooms and fantastic service from the hostess and chef. Checking in and out was a breeze, and there are snacks, drinks, and games available 24/7. We were sad that we had to leave too early to catch our home-cooked breakfast the last morning, but the hostess packed a nice breakfast for us to take. Its location so close to the State Capitol and City Creek/Temple Square also cannot be beat. I would definitely recommend this for a nice stay-cation.
Absolutely wonderful Bed and Breakfast!The house, built in the early 1900's, is just gorgeous. The guest rooms have been thoughtfully and tastefully updated for guests while still preserving the historical feel and integrity of the house. Each guest room has its own private entrance as well as an entrance through the house. Breakfast is wonderful (no continental breakfast here) with a couple made from scratch options to choose from each morning. The location is phenomenal, especially if you if you plan on sightseeing on foot. You're within walking distance of lots of great restaurants, Temple Square, two malls-- City Creek and the Gateway, a movie theater, a grocery store, the State Capitol building, and (if you're an avid walker) Ensign Peak. Price is very reasonable for the experience, the rooms, the attention, and the service. We would recommend Inn On The Hill to anyone!
Inn on the Hill is a beautiful mansion with nicely furnished rooms, and comfortable beds. Remember that it is an older building, so some things like gaps under doors and exposed plumbing are to be expected. The history of the building creates a wonderful atmosphere and staff is friendly.
We received such a warm welcome into this beautiful house! The hosts are very friendly, the breakfast choices are to die for and the house, its rooms, the view, bed linens... everything is perfect. We had the Bryce room which offers an incredible view on the city.
