The salads look good but, I haven't tried one yet.
A good little sandwich shop.
I love to find little local places that I haven't tried. So when I was in the area I decided to drive around Ivy Place and see what there was. Karroo is interesting. It feels like stepping back in time to the 80's or early 90's. The decor is dated, but clean. Think 80's pastels and flower arrangements. Also they play some 80's soft rock channel on their radio. The food was just okay. I can't see what people were giving 5 stars for. It's a fine little place. The sandwich is good but not great. Pretty basic. The meat reminded me of Carl Buddig stuff. The bread was a little too soft and I wished they'd had an option for a sub style roll. Friendly and quick and a good value. But I don't see myself rushing back unless I was just craving the kind of sandwich a suburban soccer mom from the 80's would make on a Saturday afternoon.
Best sandwiches in utah hands down, and sunset salad mmmm
A nice quiet place to have lunch.
This sandwich shop feel like coming home. I have been a regular customer for years and the owners are wonderful. The quality is great, good prices and generous portions. It is my go-to-place for lunch when I am in the neighborhood.
It's worth noting that the bread they use for their sandwiches is always really fresh, and delicious.
amazing sandwiches and awesome customer service !
