OTR Driver here. Delivered here, friendly people, good quick unloading time. The dock lights either don't work or they don't use them just go inside and get your ppwerk when you believe your unloaded, cause they don't seem to tell you..lol.. otherwise their good. No ovnp, as its a gated lot after hrs, but you can stage if needed during business hrs.
Hayes, the owner was super easy to schedule the move. He bid out the job and I thought it was fair so went with it. His guys showed up on time and were great. They were very courteous and professional. They worked swift, but careful. All of our belongings made it in tact and no walls were dinged on either end of the job. Moving blows but would definitely recommend these guys again!
I recently went through a divorce and had to sell my 4800 sf. house and move into a 2500 sf. House. Between everything going on in my life, working, and taking care of kids, I was completely overwhelmed.
This is the worst furniture delivery company I have encountered. They provided a 2 hour window on a Saturday for a delivery and didn't show up. When I called their offices multiple times to find out where they were, no one answered; when someone did finally answer, they told me their guys would be there in 40 minutes, after I had already waited 2+ hours for them. The next time they were supposed to make a delivery during another 2 hour window they again didn't show up, lied and said my phone had a busy signal (they also didn't call ahead of time like they are supposed to), and again when I called the company numerous times the next day no one answered. It wasn't until I called Restoration Hardware that they were finally able to get through to someone. When I have discussed this issue with the person in charge of RH deliveries and the owner, they don't take any responsibility. I have advised RH of this unprofessional, disrespectful, and all around horrible customer service.
Thank you!!!
I hired Wasatch Transfer for an in town move and to pack my kitchen. The move went smoothly, however, the packing did not. The company sent four men to do my small packing job. They were finished in less than two hours, but I was charged for four hours of work. In short, I was charged $1056 for less than eight man hours. When I called the manager, he said the additional charge was for travel and prep time. I was only charged 40 minutes of travel on the moving days, and the only prep would have been bringing some tape guns and bubble wrap. I had my own boxes. The boxes were not well labeled - some were not labeled at all and several of them ended up in the wrong rooms, upside down and with broken items. Very disappointing experience.
I don't think it's hyperbole to say that Wasatch transfer saved me. I can't say enough about how hard the crew worked and how they jumped through hoops to help me. I don't know what I would have done without them. I would have paid double for what they did. It was such a relief to be able to turn over the reigns and count on them to take care of everything! When you find a company that lives up to your trust and exceeds your expectations they deserve to be recognized for that.
