I have eaten here twice now. The food was okay. It was really the customer service. Not uninviting but the second time the waiter hardly ever came by. I saw the other out and about but not our waiter. He honestly looked like he had better things to do. He even came by later and said he was sorry because he forgot about us. There was maybe 5 tables occupied. When the staff doesn't care about you I don't care what the food tastes like. In this case the food wasn't even close to making this experience right. I probably won't go back. Hopefully others have a better experience.
Fun for the kids to experience an old time themed diner. Love the sandwiches and the shakes. We've always had a good experience at Johnny Rockets as a family.
We got the chili tots, strawberry kiss shake, and pepper bacon cheddar burger. It was all delicious! Quick service, happy waitress. We'll be back.
Avoid this place like the plague!! We went here instead of Cheesecake Factory because we didn't want the hour wait. After waiting 15 minutes (the server let a party of two take a booth which we needed as a party of 3 and there were two tables open for a party of 2) we sat down and waited forever for our waiter to come over. We ordered the cheese fries to start which came out cold and the cheese sauce tastes like 7-11 nacho cheese sauce. I took the fries back and requested warm/hot fries and we waited even longer. They never brought our shake out and I wasn't going to keep waiting for terrible food so we paid for the 1 drink and terrible fries and left. They didn't get our receipt correct which I had to have them re-print and there were only two college/high school age girls that were the only servers on a Saturday night. The bathrooms were disgusting and covered in water as well which my 4 year old slipped on when I took her to go potty. I've never been to a Johnny Rockets and will never go back. We ended up walking back to Cheesecake Factory and were so bugged we didn't just wait. Red Robin is 1,000 times better than Johnny Rockets for casual dining for burgers.
Well, the hamburger was really good, and that’s the only reason I’m giving it any stars. Service was not very good, our waitress was not very attentive (no refills offered, nor did she visit our table until we were finished). If they were busy, it would be understandable, but it was not a very busy time and there were many waitresses present. When taking our order we were asked if we wanted fries with our burgers (who would not want fries with a burger) and we found out after the meal that they cost extra. While not necessary, it would be helpful to make sure that it is understood that fries cost extra at a hamburger restaurant, especially because that is out of the norm. Not the worst restaurant experience, we got really good food, but customer service wasn’t there today.
