It does have kind of a loud, hipster feel to it. A bunch of random art and bands on the walls, a jukebox, a laid-back approach to bussing tables. While you might not be a big fan of the atmosphere (which I find pretty cool), you can't argue with the food -- especially the breakfast.
I am from out of state, found this from a Google search, glad I did. We both had a different blue plate breakfast. The servings were plenty of food (3 eggs, thick bacon, extra potatoes because they do not have Gluten free toast). People were polite, service was good, cost was reasonable at $23 for two. I wanted to give 4 stars for no gluten free bread, but everything else was great, so they earn 5. Funky decor! I'd come back again.
During the week this place is wonderful. No wait, no rush. On the weekend, it gets BUSY. So expect a significant wait. But the food is AMAZING! And the staff is awesome and attentive. Family from out of town always want to come here when they come in.
Super fun hipster breakfast place. All the entrees I've tried here have been awesome, and they have all-you-can-drink drip coffee to go with it!
We really enjoy coming to this place. They have a great menu. I’ve returned there many a time and ordered quite a few things over the years. I usually stick to the salmon Benedict because the flavor is off the charts. If you’re looking for a comfy and friendly place with great food. Come here
I particularly like The Blue Plate Diner. The atmosphere is really cozy and the servers are very kind. The first time I went was in March and I have been a repeat customer ever since. My personal favorite dish is the pancakes with their breakfast potatoes. Seriously, the potatoes are out of this world. I would definitely recommend this for a Sunday breakfast or for a nice meal with friends.
