Paid 10 bucks for a shrimp pasta and drink. The pasta had 2 shrimp. I didn't ask for more and that is on me. However, if you are going to charge a higher price for this meal, then it should have more than 2 shrimp. Also one of my coworkers got this same dish and he hit the jackpot and got 4 shrimp.
Protip: They will make you things not listen on the menu. E.g. cheese fries are about $2.
The specials are also amazing. Breakfast specials are really good. Absolutely worth the cost.
The food price is cheap but the quality is not cheap. Would definitely return.
The place is getting better! It was a big change with what was rumored to be a hostile take over but they are starting to hit their stride. For me, they are offering more vegan and vegetarian options which is great! They brought back the sampling cups so I can see if I like the soup or not (it's the little things :), I feel that the food taste better, the options/variation in what they offer is increasing, and the atmosphere is brightening up as well and feels less "We only want your money" vibe and more "We care and want to get to know you in these small interactions and improve your experience." Overall, I am starting to have more positive experience than negative. I'd say 4.5/5 but it doesn't give that as an option and .5 does round up.
Also the Chinese food is ALWAYS salty.
The employees are so, so nice. I have had so many good experiences here. I almost wish I forgot my lunch more often.
I miss the old owners. New owner is vegetarian and is trying to push others in that direction. Maybe the salad bar is better in some ways, but I have disliked almost all of the meals I have gotten here. I'm quite sad about it.
