Absolutely horrible. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Rude staff, didn't have the vehicle that I reserved or another car that would work. Gave me a pickup truck when I have a pregnant wife and a baby, and told me to take it or leave it because it's all they have. I asked if I could switch the pickup with another vehicle at another location and was told no because they are a franchise. I asked for a discount for giving me a vehicle with no cover for our luggage and that will burn over twice as much fuel and was told that they cannot discount pickups. I took the truck and called budget corporate and they arranged for me to pickup a car at another location which was supposed to be a Chevy impala. Got to that location, which made me late for a meeting, and the staff were great but they did not have the Impala so I was stuck with a small Toyota car.
Worked against us at every turn. There was always some new inconvenience we weren't told about when we reserved online. A $1500 deposit? Screw that noise. They tried to nickel and dime us at every turn and there was just one hidden fee after another. Customer service was atrocious. They made it very clear that they didn't want us renting from them with their irritated attitudes. Screw these guys.
This location is a total fraud and a scam. they increased the charge 300% of the original cost, after I returned the car. Then they said I returned the car without gas, which is false. I filled up the tank completely close to the airport 5 minutes before I returned it. I still have the receipt showing the time and location. However, budget insist they had to put gas and charged 82 dollars to my card. Be aware, this company will try to hit you hidden fees and little tricks. I imagine how many businesses and people don't check their statements and get taken advantage of. How many thousands of dollars they have made from this fraudulent charges ? There's needs to be a class action law sue, in order to stop the unfair business practices. Shame on Budget! Seriously taken away money from their costumers like that. I would give it 0 stars if I could
Worst rental experience ever. Over an hour to get a car. Did everything online ahead of time, lot of good that did me.
I wouldn't bother with this place. When I picked up my car, there were four people in line, but it look an hour to get the car. There were two people up front, but one was a "trainee" and so it basically one person taking care of everyone. When I returned my car, there wasn't an employee in sight. This is a 24-hour location and I returned my car around 2 am. There was no dropbox to leave the keys/rental agreement. I went inside and there was again a line of people, but no one could seem to find an employee to help anyone. We all waited over a half-hour, and still no one showed. The guy behind me called Budget to see if they could help find someone, but they apologized and then hung up on him. He then went and pounded on the office doors behind the counter, but no answer. Finally the employee over at the AVIS counter tried to offer me some help. He walked with me outside to the car return area to see if he could find a dropbox. Nope. Finally he just suggested I leave my filled out rental agreement and keys on the Budget front desk. I was so tired at 2 am and didn't really see any other options, so that's what I had to do. Not sure what happened to the other customers that were still waiting...I told them they should just get a car with AVIS - that's what I wish I had done. Anyway, doubt this review will cause them to make improvements since they seem to have a whole host of 1-star reviews. Hopefully this helps dissuade people from renting here and avoid all this trouble.
