Went back and forth with their support for a month now to no avail. I am now disputing the charges with my Credit Card company.
My wife was stranded in SLC because the Payless desk employees left early even though my wife had a reservation. The company wouldn't do anything to help and refused to even apologize. Very disappointing.

Got charged 13x what was in the rental agreement due to a "Discounted" rate of $200/day. Gee whiz Payless, thanks for that sweet discounted rate!!
I made reservations through AA August 18, 2017, and they directed me to them. When we arrived in Salt Lake City September 11, 2017, and went to the Payless Car Rental Counter. The associate said they did not have a vehicle for me. I said I made reservations almost a month ago. The associate said with a smart voice "we did not charge your card, if you want a car we can put your name on a wait list!!" I said a wait list? "Yes, and it could take up to three hours at least to get you a car!". Never AGAIN!!
This place is a JOKE! No one will answer at the desk, Ive called SIX TIMES during business hours. I can't extend my car rental contract online, so I'm out of options. Don't ever rent from here. You end up paying more than they advertise anyway. So not worth it!!!!
Friggin Sweet Discount Rate: $199.99 per day!!
Nobody was at the rental counter when I showed up to pick up my car. I had a reservation to pick it up at 4 pm on a Friday, and I waited there from 4:00 - 4:30 without seeing anyone working there. I asked someone from one of the other companies to check if there was someone in the back on break or something like that, but they never found anyone. I ended up having to rent from another company.
